Thank you for visiting my website, "Could It Be Cushing's?" I hope you will find it useful, and that it puts some things into perspective for you.
Cushing's Disease has literally taken my life by storm, and sometimes it still rages. I have often compared it to a tornado and its aftermath. It is seemingly impossible to pick up from the chaos left behind. It is a slow process, picking through the pieces and finding something you can salvage, even though it may never look or function the way it once did. I have hope that someday, I can get to a place where my mind and body work in harmony and without feeling as if they've been compromised. Until then...I am Jenifer, Cushing's Disease warrior.

Please note: The information on this website is tailored to Cushing's Disease, which is a pituitary disorder caused by hypersecretion of an ACTH-producing tumor. Since the bulk of my "expertise" falls within the pituitary relationship of this endocrine disorder, you will find that I did not cover much on Cushing's Syndrome, which is the result of hypercortisolism due to an adrenal tumor or an ectopic ACTH-producing tumor.
